Terms and Conditions
These Terms and Conditions apply to all contracts for the sale of goods by Charlotte Elizabeth (CE) Ltd (trading as RAEME) (“we”, “us”, “our”) to you (“you”, “your”).
By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

2. Your Status
You confirm that you are purchasing Goods as a consumer for personal, non-commercial use.
3. Formation of Contract
3.1 You place an order by completing checkout and submitting payment.
3.2 A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation email.
3.3 We will not charge you if we do not accept your order.
3.4 Ownership of the Goods passes to you once full payment is received.
4. Our Goods
4.1 Our products are handcrafted using natural materials, including leather. As a result:
- Each item is unique
- Variations in colour, grain, texture, markings, and finish may occur
- These are natural characteristics and not defects
4.2 Product images are for illustrative purposes only. Colours may vary depending on your device.
4.3 Packaging may vary from that shown online.
4.4 Exposure to water, sunlight, fragrance, cosmetics, and other substances may alter the appearance of the Goods over time.
Nothing in this clause affects your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
5. Pre-Orders & Made-to-Order Items
5.1 Some Goods may be offered on a pre-order or made-to-order basis.
5.2 Delivery dates provided are estimates and may change due to circumstances outside our control.
5.3 We will notify you of any significant delays.
5.4 Payment is taken in full at the time of order.
5.5 You may cancel a pre-order at any time before dispatch for a full refund.
5.6 Where Goods are clearly personalised or bespoke, your cancellation rights may be limited in accordance with the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
6. Sample Sale Items
6.1 Sample Sale items may include prototypes, archive pieces, or items with minor imperfections.
6.2 These items may differ from standard products and may not include full packaging.
6.3 Sample Sale purchases are final sale and not eligible for return, except where:
- the item is faulty; or
- the item is not as described
7. Price & Payment
7.1 All prices must be paid in full at checkout.
7.2 Delivery costs are shown separately.
7.3 In the event of a pricing error:
- we will contact you before processing your order; or
- cancel and refund your order if the error is obvious
7.4 If you choose a third-party payment provider (e.g. Klarna), relevant data will be shared in accordance with data protection law.
8. Delivery
8.1 You must provide accurate delivery details when placing your order.
8.2 We are not responsible for failed delivery due to incorrect address details provided by you.
8.3 Delivery is complete when the Goods are delivered to your specified address or a designated collection point.
8.4 If delivery fails:
- additional delivery or storage charges may apply
- you may be required to pay re-delivery costs
8.5 We do not deliver to PO Box addresses.
8.6 International orders may be subject to customs duties, taxes, and delays. These are your responsibility.
8.7 If delivery is delayed by more than 90 days due to circumstances outside our control, you may cancel the contract and receive a refund.
9. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
9.1 Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your Goods.
9.2 To exercise this right:
- notify us within 14 days of delivery
- return the Goods within 14 days of notifying us
9.3 Goods must be:
- unused
- in their original condition and packaging
9.4 You are responsible for return shipping costs unless the Goods are faulty.
9.5 Refunds will be processed within 14 days of receiving the returned Goods.
9.6 We may reduce your refund if the value of the Goods has been diminished due to handling beyond what is necessary to inspect them.
10. Faulty or Misdescribed Goods
10.1 Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, you are entitled to:
- a refund within 30 days if Goods are faulty
- repair or replacement where appropriate
10.2 If a fault is confirmed, we will:
- repair, replace, or refund the Goods
- reimburse reasonable return shipping costs
10.3 This does not cover damage caused by:
- misuse or neglect
- unauthorised repair or alteration
- normal wear and tear
11. Our Liability
11.1 We are responsible for loss or damage that is a foreseeable result of our breach of contract or failure to use reasonable care and skill.
11.2 We do not exclude or limit liability where it would be unlawful, including:
- death or personal injury caused by negligence
- fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
11.3 We supply Goods for personal use only and are not liable for business losses.
12. Intellectual Property
All content, designs, branding, and materials relating to RAEME are owned by Charlotte Elizabeth (CE) Ltd or its licensors.
You may not reproduce or use them for commercial purposes without permission.
13. Ending the Contract
13.1 You may end the contract in accordance with clauses 9 and 10.
13.2 We may end the contract if:
- you fail to provide necessary information (e.g. delivery details); or
- events outside our control prevent fulfilment
13.3 Where we end the contract, we will refund any Goods not supplied, less reasonable costs where applicable.
14. Personal Data
We use your personal data to:
- process and deliver your order
- communicate with you
We will only share your data where necessary or required by law.
15. General
15.1 We may transfer our rights and obligations under these Terms to another organisation without affecting your rights.
15.2 This contract is between you and us only. No third party has rights to enforce it.
15.3 If any provision is found to be invalid, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.
15.4 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
15.5 Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
