About The Designer
At seventeen, Charlotte’s life took an unexpected turn. After leaving school to undergo major heart surgery, the path she had planned - A-levels, university and career aspects had disappeared overnight. What followed was a decade shaped by resilience. Two heart surgeries, ongoing health challenges, and long periods of recovery forced her to rebuild, again and again. But in that stillness, something else began to take shape.
In 2016, Charlotte's previous brand Charlotte Elizabeth was born from her bedroom. Stock was stored under the bed, in wardrobes, across the family home. What started as a small idea quickly grew into something far bigger - a brand worn by women across the world, including members of the Royal Family. It was a defining chapter. One that proved what was possible. But it was also intense, relentless, and shaped by survival as much as success.
At thirty, living by the sea in Cornwall, Charlotte is creating from a place she has hasn't worked from in years: clarity, space, no pressure - and a natural unfolding of her talent. RAEME is the result of that shift. It carries forward everything she has learned - an understanding of craftsmanship, of timeless design, of what truly matters. Minimal silhouettes. Italian leather. Handcrafted by expert craftspeople.
This is a new chapter - lighter, sharper, and entirely on her terms. RAEME exists with a clear intention: to create true luxury products, without the layers of cost that typically come with them. No wholesale markups. No inflated pricing to cover large teams, expensive campaigns, or agency retainers. No paid marketing - growth happens organically, through the product itself and the women who carry it.
Every decision is deliberate. By removing unnecessary overheads, Charlotte is able to focus investment where it matters most: exceptional materials, skilled craftsmanship, and thoughtful design. The result is luxury, distilled to its essence - where you’re paying for the product, not everything built around it.
